Deer Lodge George Jones tribute album update!

Since the passing of George Jones earlier this year, there has been no shortage of tribute projects for the Country legend.

Now comes a 30-song collection of music first made famous by “The Possum” and it features a variety of artists and genres, courtesy of Portland’s Deer Lodge records, “Deer Lodge George Jones,” due on December 20th.

The variety of interpretations and energy these diverse artists bring to George’s classic songs is mind-blowing,” said the album’s producer, Bert Sperling.”We’ve got punk, bluegrass, postmodern pop and even reggae. People will be talking about this album for years.”
